For a true doctor, medicine is more than a profession, it is a way of life.A.F.Bilibin By Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated April 2, 1993 No. 65, the first clinical base was created at the Kuban Medical Institute on the basis of the Krasnodar Regional Clinical Scientific and Methodological Center for Mother and Child (founded in September 1991) – the Basic Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the Clinic).The scientific director and organizer of the Clinic was Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Boris Grigorievich Ermoshenko.The first chief physician of the Clinic was an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist Vladimir Sergeevich Kodentsov.The clinic is the main educational base of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, the Departments of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, Dentistry, Faculty of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of Specialists of the Kuban State Medical University, has all the necessary conditions for training students of the medical and dental faculties, clinical residents.In addition to medical work, the Clinic’s staff is actively involved in research activities.Over 500 publications have been published, four patents have been received, and many innovation proposals have been developed.On the basis of the Clinic, research was conducted and doctoral (V.A. Krutova – 2016, E.V. Bashirov – 2019, S.V. Kovaleva – 2022) and candidate (I.N. Ananyev, I.V. Surnina – 2002, V.A. Krutova – 2006, N.V. Naumova -2007, I.E. Aslanyan, A.M. Chulkova – 2011, O.V. Avagimova – 2012, L.V.Makarenko – 2013, I.A.Egorova – 2019, E.I.Sokolova, A.A.Sorochenko – 2020, Y.A.Kovalenko – 2021, T.G.Melkonyants, A.N.Khachetsukova – 2022) dissertation.Participation in international, all-Russian, regional scientific congresses, forums, as well as congresses of obstetricians and gynecologists has become a tradition for the Clinic’s doctors.The Clinic employs highly qualified doctors of various specialties, including 6 doctors and 37 candidates of medical sciences, 88 doctors of the highest qualification category.More detailed information about the Clinic can be obtained on the Clinic’s website.
