The Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Communication was separated into a separate structural unit in 2024.The creation of the department was preceded by the implementation of the “School of Psychologists” project, as well as the opening of a master’s program in the direction of 04/37/01 “Psychology”.The head of the department is Tamara Sergeevna Gutova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor.Range of scientific interests: clinical psychology, psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process.More than 50 scientific papers have been published, 6 textbooks have been prepared.Currently, the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Communication teaches the disciplines “Psychology, Pedagogy”, “Fundamentals of Project Activities, Lean Manufacturing”, “Professionally Oriented Communication Skills”, “Cultural Studies”, “Sociology”.For these courses, appropriate programs and methodological complexes have been developed in accordance with Federal State Educational Standards.In educational activities, teachers use active teaching methods and practice-oriented models, which allow students to develop the necessary competencies for further implementation in their professional field.Teachers of the department conduct active research activities.Teachers of the department, within the framework of SSS, hold a weekly meeting of the scientific circle on psychology with the aim of developing the psychological literacy of students, preparing and conducting scientific research and further publishing their results.In 2024, teachers of the department launched the “School of Psychologists” project, the implementation of which was made possible thanks to the Strategic Academic Leadership Program “Priority 2030”, with the support of the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory.
