Institute of Pre-University Education (IPE)
The new realities of science development and the need to enhance educational potential have determined changes that affected the university's structure. The Faculty of Pre-University Preparation was transformed into the Institute of Pre-University Education, gaining new opportunities for development and expanding the range of activities.
Profile of the Institute of Pre-University Education
- Organization and conduct of career guidance work, specialized Olympiads and events;
- Supervision of scientific and project activities of students;
- Educational work;
- Preparation of students in pre-profile and profile classes of associated lyceums No. 12 and No. 48 for the OGE and Unified State Exam in chemistry, biology, and Russian language;
- Conducting advanced training courses:
- for OGE and Unified State Exam in individual subjects (chemistry / biology / Russian language) for schoolchildren in Krasnodar and the Republic of Adygea – grades 8, 9, 10, 11;
- for OGE and Unified State Exam in a part-time format for schoolchildren in Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai, and the Republic of Adygea – grades 10, 11;
- for entrance examinations to KubSMU;
- Conducting preparatory courses in Russian language, chemistry, and biology for foreign citizens planning to enter medical universities.
Education at the Institute
Education involves an individual approach, consideration of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and the Unified State Exam, use of educational, methodological, and digital materials, practical training, visits to university departments, the KubSMU Museum, and the Multi-Profile Accreditation and Simulation Center, which corresponds to innovative educational strategies and promotes professional self-determination of students.
Teachers of the Institute of Pre-University Education combine work at the university with teaching chemistry, biology, and Russian language in lyceums associated with KubSMU in Krasnodar. This allows for the integration of preparation in core subjects: basic (school curriculum) and additional (Institute's program).
Project activities, conferences, olympiads
Students in grades 8-11 engage in project activities under the guidance of teachers from the Institute of Pre-University Education and departments of KubSMU. The best projects are presented at the annual scientific and practical conference.
Students of the Institute annually participate in the "Road to Medicine" Olympiad for schoolchildren, aimed at identifying and developing creative abilities and career guidance for youth.
