The Department of Surgery No. 3 of the Faculty of Training and Teaching Staff was organized in September 2016.In his scientific, methodological, and pedagogical activities, he relies on the traditions of the Kuban surgical school, in particular, the department of general surgery, which was headed by Savva Markianovich Ryadnov from 1962 to 1978.Since 1978, the department was headed by Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Onopriev, who created a powerful school of surgical gastroenterology in Kuban.Currently, his students work at the Department of Surgery No. 3, who are creatively developing the field of functional surgical gastroenterology.
The department is headed by Professor Vladimir Moiseevich Durleshter – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Health Worker of the Kuban, Honored Health Worker of the Republic of Adygea, Honored Doctor of Russia, Excellent Health Worker, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Full Member (Academician) of the Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences of the Russian Federation.Since December 2004, he has been the Chairman of the Krasnodar section of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Society of Gastroenterological Surgeons”, a member of the editorial board of the journal “Bulletin of Surgical Gastroenterology”.
Durleshter V.M.- a surgeon of the highest qualification category, has certificates in related specialties “Thoracic surgery”, “Coloproctology”, “Gastroenterology”, “Oncology”, and has a wide range of surgical interventions.
Co-author of more than 290 scientific and educational works, including 11 methodological recommendations approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Krasnodar Territory, 10 inventions, 2 monographs.V.M.Durleshter actively trains surgical and scientific personnel.He trained 14 candidates of science, as well as 2 doctors of science.

The main directions of scientific and methodological work of the department are:Improving the organization, pathogenetic justification and improving the quality of specialized surgical medical care for patients with complex diseases of the digestive system.Conducting applied scientific research and clinical trials on the problems of surgical treatment of pathologies of the digestive system.Development and testing of new highly effective methods of surgical treatment and prevention of diseases of the digestive system.Improving the provision of specialized medical care to patients with diseases of the digestive system using highly effective diagnostic and surgical technologies.Development, improvement and implementation of high-tech surgical care for patients with complicated, severe, precancerous and oncological, congenital and other diseases of the digestive organs, as well as related organs and systems.Widespread introduction of highly effective and standardized surgical technologies into the practice of medical institutions in the Krasnodar Territory and the Southern Federal District.Participation in the development of industry standards in the field of digestive pathology and methodological control over their implementation in the Krasnodar Territory.Therapeutic, diagnostic and teaching work by the staff of the department is carried out on the basis of the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2 of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnodar Territory.The powerful personnel potential of the multidisciplinary clinic, equipping it with high-tech medical equipment, advanced modern technologies based on the experience of leading Russian scientists, and its own developments allow today the Department of Surgery No. 3 to carry out teaching and research work at the level of modern educational standards.Most of the department’s employees combine the work of a teacher with active clinical activities: V.M. Durleshter is the deputy chief physician of KKB No. 2 for surgery, S.A. Gabriel is the chief physician of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution Clinical Hospital No. 2, V.S. Krushelnitsky is the deputy chief physician of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution Clinical Hospital No. 2, A.Ya. N.V. Korochanskaya – head of the gastroenterological center, A.V. Makarenko – head of the surgical department;V.Yu. Dynko – head of the endoscopy department, S.N. Serikova – head of the gastroenterological center SKAL.The department employs the chief freelance endoscopist and the chief freelance gastroenterologist of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnodar Territory.
The Department of Surgery No. 3 develops high-tech surgical methods for the treatment of complex gastroenterological pathologies (diseases of the liver, pancreas, esophagus, small and large intestine, retroperitoneal space), in particular, operations such as oral endoscopic myotomy (P.O.E.M.), diagnostic and therapeutic pancreatoscopy, digital transpapillary cholangioscopy and lithoextraction, resection of the head of the pancreas, longitudinal pancreatojejunostomy, distal and median pancreatectomy, pancreaticoduodenectomy, total duodenopancreatectomy, endovascular occlusion operations on liver vessels, removal of a lobe (segment) of the liver, cryodestruction of a liver tumor, radiofrequency ablation for liver tumors, proctoplasty, colectomy, resection of the colon for Hirschsprung’s disease, sphincteroplasty for a vaginal-colic fistula, abdominal-anal resection of the rectum with liquidation recto-vaginal fistula, resection of the affected small (large) intestine in Crohn’s disease, formation of a small intestinal reservoir, plasty of the esophagus.Most of the operations performed are original, developed with the direct participation of department staff and are protected by patents of the Russian Federation.
